I Am Typing Ywt Again About This Crayzy Old Thig

kimmig Newbie Bring together Engagement: Jan 2004 Location: Ma Posts: 7	Is it feet or Something else Hi! I am 29 years old and up until vii weeks agone perfectly salubrious. My question is One dark about vii weeks ago i had a really bad cold and all of a sudden felt like i couldn' breathe and hyperventilated went to er all vitals normal. Simply ever since so been getting these foreign cold electric blazon sensations in the back of my head and the whole right side. Had ct and mri of Head and c Spine everything normal. Could this be feet My centre doesn't race or nor practise i have rapid breathing. A few seem to think it could be stemming from that one night of fear that something was happening. Neurologist is treating me for migraines but my head don't Hurt. Any advice would be helpful Also posted in headches. Thanks Kimmi

Thanks Kimmi Hi Kimmi, I was perfectly good for you upwardly until about 7 weeks agone besides. I had a actually bad cold/influenza over Christmas. I did the very same thing. Around the 1st of January I got totally freaked out and idea I was going to die too. I felt like I was going to suffocate or something. This happened at night, and I hardly slept at all. I went to the medico and they thought maybe I was reacting to a medication I was taking for the cold. Anyway, information technology lasted almost 2 nights and 3 days, then I felt fine. However, this has happened now almost 4 times and I've been dorsum to the doctor twice. Now I recollect I'1000 perchance having some type of anxiety attacks. All I know is it is a horrible, horrible feeling when I'm in it. Dmhr

THANKS Dear kimmig, See a full general practioner or Psychratrist not a Neurologist for this. The medication that you are on is a anticonvulsant. This medication is used primarily for manic episodes and there is no bear witness that it is useful in the treatment of acute migraine headaches. Change doctors and get on medications for anxiety, expecially if you do non have headaches and the symptoms that you stated. Based on what you lot take said, and I tin merely get by what you accept written, you do non need this medication and I would definately see some other and non a neurologist. Y'all don't demand pain treatment, you demand mental treatment for anxiety or panic disorder. Just my stance simply that medication has naught to do with your stated symptoms and it has a lot of issues besides. Don't freak out there is no immdeate danger, don't stop taking it but see another md and go his advice about this. Sincerely, Sickman

In tardily November I had a really bad common cold which my Dr. diagnosed equally bronchitis (which I'd never had before). I ended up in the ER three weeks after unable to breathe in the middle of the night. I've been going steadily downhill since then for no apparent reason, anxiety attacks everyday. I finally got meds, they assist alot until they wear off..I get right into another one. I recall I'chiliad probably making it worse by thinking about it too much, I just thought it was odd how 2 of yous said information technology started after a cold. ???

murph6 Member (female) Join Appointment: Jan 2004 Posts: 53	Re: Is it anxiety or Something else hi kimmi,i know what your going through mine started dec 21st idea i was having a stroke or something my arm and lips went numb and had a feeling of something beingness terribly wrong with me ,he told me i had fluid backside my ear and told me thats what was making me feel like that ,went to my reg doc and he gave me allegra and told me thats why i was feeling so strange 2 weeks later on that blew a hole in my eardrum from blowing my nose got all that taken care of its been 3 weeks since i blew a hole in my eardrum and still experience funny off and on i feel like im going crazy wondering if somthings wrong with me im 34 and was feeling fine earlier all this i went to a womens dispensary and she told me it was feet and it should work its way out with out medicine but im simply well-nigh to telephone call back and inquire for something im driving myself and my family crazy my symtoms are strange feeling of somethings not right, i get spasms in my temples, nausea this goes on and off everyday. practiced luck
